609 Consulting, LLC (609) was founded in 2007 as a civil engineering consultant firm that provides multi-disciplinary services to the oil and gas industry. 609 has over 100 years of combined project management experience and over thirty-five employees located in four offices in Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah. 609 is well situated to provide superior, responsive and affordable services within the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond.

About 609 Consulting

We are a civil engineering, surveying and consulting firm that was established in 2007. Founded by Barry Venn, PE bringing 35 years of successful experience in civil engineering consulting throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to establishing 609 Consulting, LLC, Barry was the founder and owner of Civil Engineering Professionals, Inc. (CEPI), in Casper for over twenty years.

We Bring Experience

The 609 team brings more than 100 years of combined experience to the table. Our staff is currently comprised of 58 employees including 14 engineers (ten PE and four EIT), 25 surveyors (five PLS, two LSIT, 18 field surveyors), eight GIS Specialists, seven CAD Specialists, and four Administrative Support Staff.
